Gotta love Charlie dog.

Over the weekend I went for a hike with my pals and good ol Charlie Dog. I met Charlie over five years ago and he always puts a smile on my face. His dopey eyes, his OCD and his constant cuddles…Not to mention his stinky gas which I am NOT a fan of. But he does it so nonchalantly that you can’t get upset with him. He’ll win you over with that sad look in his eyes and wag of the tail. Sometimes if I’m lucky, I’ll get to babysit the ol fart.  He loves to play fetch, catch ball, go for runs and get hair all over the place. But most of all he loves being around people. And that’s why we get along so well. This 90 something year old dog is my little buddy! Here’s to you Charlie Dog! –  – -Christina XO

A Horse Is A Horse Of Course A Horse

Last week I went to the Hastings Race Track for a birthday gathering and it was tres fun! I’ve never been to the horse races at night.  In fact, I never even knew the horses raced at night.  I admit I’m not much of a gambler but I am huge on people watching. I love it! I am fascinated by people’s characteristics, with what people wear to certain events, who goes to these events etc…etc…I felt like I was at a carnival. There was a Dj spinning Michael Jackson tunes and characters of all types roaming the grounds. And I mean all types. I got my groove on….I must admit I had to pull out a few dance moves while watching those horses gallop! Yee Haa!  – Christina xo
And their off!

Hey Mr. Dj from behind.

From the front.

Not too sure about this fashion faux pas. What’s wrong with this picture?

Are we going clubbing?

My fortune from the noodle house. I stuck to vegetable soup and could not eat it. It smelled of my old dog Terry. I’m not lying. It’s true. But I enjoyed the message.
“Luck is on your side this month”.  Sweeet!

10 beaches in 10 days

Living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world definitely has its perks.  Over the weekend I went to 3rd beach in Stanley Park and was not disappointed. Then again, I never am when I’m surrounded by good peeps, ocean, sand and a healthy dose of D. And by “D” I mean SUN! I soaked in everything from people watching, eating healthy food, to sleeping on my blanky…..A perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I try to go to the beach every week to take a time out. It’s a great place to just relax and not think. Did you know that you could literally go to 10 beaches in 10 days? I am going to challenge myself to do so….One of these days. Here are 10 Vancouver Beaches you want to see.

Third Beach, Second Beach, English Bay, Kitsilano Beach, Jericho Beach, Locarno Beach, Spanish Banks,  Sunset Beach, Ambleside Beach, Centennial Beach and last but not least, Wreck Beach, for those who like to catch some rays in their birthday suit. ( o )( o ) – Christina
